It looks like I have a lot to ramble about, huh? What is it with teenagers these days. Don’t they have anything better to do than lighting fireworks and crackers directly outside the barracks? It’s not like they don’t know what is going on and you can see that they are doing it deliberately on purpose. They walk up and down the outside the barracks, light crackers and throw them through the fence. What the hell are they thinking?

Are they all going nuts? What happened to common sense? It’s like people more and more lose their common sense. They are ignorant, stupid and selfish. Gawsh sometimes I hate people.

I am not a parent. I understand it can be stressful. We all went through childhood and I know what a hard time we gave my parents. One thing my parents never did was going to the movie theater and taking us to a movie we definitely should not watch as a kid. They have never been that selfish to let us watch a movie that would give us a nightmare. In Germany they wouldn’t let a 6 year old in a movie that is for a 16 year old.

Well, on post things seem to be different. One thing I have noticed is that parents bring their little kids to movies that they shouldn’t be watching at their age. Like yesterday… we went to the movie theater to watch Max Payne. It’s pretty violent and I guarantee it is not a movie for a 6 year old. These movies have a rating and there is a reason why they have a rating. What I don’t understand is that people can bring their babies, 3-6 years old to these movies and nobody says anything. I don’t understand why a parent would bring their 6 year old to a dark movie like that. The movie sucked but it was dark and violent enough to give them nightmares. A movie should never be more important than your kid. It’s just a movie. It’ll come out on DVD. You can either rent or buy it and watch it when your kids are in bed.
IF you don’t have a baysitter don’t go to the movies. Don’t bring your baby at a time like that to the theater and when he/she starts crying and screaming because it is so damned loud why don’t you do the rest of us a favor. LEAVE! Bring your baby home to bed because the movie theater is not a place for a baby and especially NOT a movie like Rambo or Max Payne! Be a good parent. DAMNIT!

So I have been working on the graphics for the blog. I added a third column, got the background from The Cutest Blog on the Block. Scrapbook stuff for the header from Digi Scrap Depot. I am using Paint.net to put everything together and it works just fine. There is just one thing I have not figured out yet. How do I make the background transparent? I tried everything but it never seems to work. Once I have it uploaded it has a white background but I want it transparent. Since I couldn’t get it transparent I simply copied the pink backround and used it as background for the header and the photo in the sidebar. It doesn’t look bad at all I just wished I knew how to get a transparent background in paint.net….

I have to get photoshop one of these days… paint.net is nice but it just isn’t photoshop…

Another thing that makes me go “GRRRRRR!!!” is to put a background in the post. I know how to put it in there but I don’t know of how to make it stretch itself. I want to get rid of the frame and have a paper background instead. It is not a problem to get one but it just doesn’t work the way I want it. I tried no-repeat and repeat but that doesn’t stretch it. I also put the bottom in there but that doesn’t work either…. GRRRRRRR!!!

I’ll figure it out eventually…

You probably noticed that the blog background and the layout changes from time to time. Well that is because I am trying to find the perfect background and layout. It’s been a while that I have blogged with Blogger and used my HTML skills. I’ve been with wordpress for so long but wordpress doesn’t allow you to change HTML. I like wordpress because of all the features that come along with it but I don’t like that you can’t change the CSS and HTML because I like playing around and change this or that. Hehe…
