Was this a harsh winter or what? With temps at -20 or even -39, the icestorm and blizzards there was barely a chance to work the dogs.
If there is one thing I learned its not to become a victim yourself, so the dogs had a long break from work, Nala got her puppies and now everyone is ready for spring, even the dogs, though they would not mind snow year round… 😉
Anyhow, last Sunday we went out. The dogs had been restless and on fire. For the first time in ages, they just could not settle at all. So we packed them up and drove around the corner for a couple of training searches with the girls.
