I have to admit that I am sort of a geek. Well, not a full time geek but I have my geekish minutes. One of my hobbies is fantasy roleplaying games. NO! Not THAT kind of roleplaying games. I am talking about Dungeons & Dragons, Palladium, Shadowrun, etc. (to all the haters out there… it’s just G.A.M.E.S. But if I am going to hell for gaming…I’ll bring marshmellows 😛)
However, I am with one of these gamer forums for over 6 years now. Know many of the oldsters personally and one of them just made me a goddess. Cool, huh? 🙂

Nelly is one of the Megaverse’s most “unique” Goddesses, with perhaps the most unique Portfolio ever.

You see, Nelly is the Patron Goddess of Hot Women Who Are Unaware Of Just How Hot They Are.

Statues erected in her honor frequently depict a buxom, lusty Goddess with an innocent looking face but a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a P.B. of at least 30, whose eyes are firmly affixed to the flagon of German Stout in her hand.

She is always depicted on a magnificent, six-legged war horse in long, flowing Robes, a Valkyrie’s Helmet……and U.S. Army Combat Boots.

Many, many, many suitors go to her Church…but unfortunately, what they give to her as lavish, expensive attempts to try to win her heart, she and her followers mistake for donations. :

SPECIAL NOTE: All Priestesses of Nelly have a blessing/spell called “Turn Water into Wine…” but for true-blue Germans, “water” refers to the weak alcoholic drinks that Americans dare to call “beer,” and by “wine,” they actually mean good German Beer -the best beer in the Megaverse, of course.

Here are some pictures from our Christmas Dinner. It was a hell a lot of work to prepare the whole thing but it was definitely worth it. I don’t even want to know how much money we have spend for the whole thing… it doesn’t matter anyway. We have had fun, no one had to spend Christmas on his/her own and all in all it was a great night. We had so much food that we had enough to share with the Ponds Guard that had Guard Duty that night and all the other leftovers went straight into the freezer LOL.

A fellow Soldiers’ Angel is supporting their Chaplain and several of those Marines you can see in the video. They are part of her sons old unit. Doesn’t matter of how far away they are from home it seems that their sense of humor never leaves them.

… I spend six hours in the kitchen to fix that damned food for the christmas dinner. HAHA!
Yes… that is longer than expected. NCIS kept me entertained though. I love NCIS, it is my favorite show so it was running on the notebook in the background. Quasi got me the 5th season for Christmas. WOHOOO!!! Can’t wait to get the 6th season on dvd.

Thank god I decorated the dayroom the day before.
All in all we have had a lot of fun and it was a very long day.

Quasi is wearing his BOSS shirt today. It says “Warrior Pride” in the front and “Never leave a battle buddie…” on the back. I just cuddled up with him and said “My proud warrior” and he was like “And you are my warrior princess. You like that, don’t you?”
I told him it would make a great Shirt.
