The dogs love their new home

One thing is for sure, the dogs love their new home.

It seems like they are having a much easier time to adjust to the new place then we do. As longs as they are together and we are with them they don’t have any problems to adjust to new situations at all. And most importantly, as long as they have enough space to run and chase each other, they are totally happy. They’ve been out for over an hour chasing each other and playing like crazy and right now they are happily sleeping under the dinner table. So yes, the dogs settled in and love to go out the door and run.

As you can tell the snow is gone. Well, it’s gotten warmer the past few days and it rained a lot. Today it started to snow again and we are slowly getting it back. Let’s see how much snow we get this time.

I am done cleaning for today…

I guess I am somewhat settled into our new home now. There is still a lot of cleaning to do but at least it’s not a chaotic mess anymore. All the windows need to be cleaned and the painting is not done yet. but I am feeling much better now. Now all we need to buy is a washer and a new matress so we can sleep in our own bed instead of on the couch or the airmatress.
The ceiling definitely needs to be painted too.

Archer, the Kitten

Archer was left behind by the previous tenants. She’s such a sweet cat, loves to get petted and is round about a snuggly cat that needs lots of attention. I will never understand why people abandon their pets. Especially since Archer is such a sweet little girl. We are not sure how old she is and I’ll definitely take her to the vet to get a titer test done. Who knows when she last received any shots. I said it before and I’ll say it again: If you can’t care for pets, DON’T GET ANY!!!

So yeah, we’ve got three dogs and one cat living with us now and Judge will join us in January.
That is when the Search&Rescue Team will pick up on training again. Indra and I are going to join them to get her training started. Since she’ll be a year old end of January she definitely needs to start getting trained before she’s too old for it.
